PZ.KPFW IV AUSF.H Early Version - Tamiya 35209 Striking fear and awe in the eyes of their enemies, the German's Panzer IV was a monster terrorizing the battlefronts of WWII. The variant, Ausf.H had early, middle, and late production types that were armed with L/48 75mm guns and featured armored side skirts known as Schurzen in German, and were recognizable due to their center guideless tracks. The road wheels were steel wheels, replacing rubber tires, and also used cast metal idler wheels.

In 1944, the end of WWII, the German Army tried to improve fire power of the German Tank Panzerkampfwagen, and the German Panzer IV/70(A) developed based on this plan. To shorten its development cycle as much as possible, the hull was based upon the German Tank Panzerkampfwagen IV Ausf. J, which was under production at that moment, combined with the fixed fighting compartment with L/70 7.5cm long barrel gun of the IV/70(V) Lang.
